Joe Biden officiates gay wedding for White House staffers at his own house

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has officiated his first ever marriage, and it just happened to be for a same-sex couple.

The two grooms were White House staffers Brian Mosteller and Joe Mahshie, who had asked the vice president to lead the ceremony.

Tweeting out a picture, Biden said: "Proud to marry Brian and Joe at my house. Couldn’t be happier, two longtime White House staffers, two great guys".

As it's known, VP Biden is a fierce supporter of LGBT rights and equality.
